TruckGear Hub exists for one reason: to cut through the marketing BS and give you real information about gear that actually works on the road.

Our Story

We're a team of long-haul truckers, full-time RVers, and overlanders who've spent combined decades on the road. We've mounted cameras on Peterbilts, wired solar on Sprinter vans, tested power stations in Death Valley, and installed TPMS on trailers that hauls 40,000 pounds.

We started TruckGear Hub because we were tired of buying gear based on Amazon reviews from people who tested things for three days. We wanted to share what actually works after 100,000 miles.

What We Believe

  • Real-world testing over specs. A dash cam's resolution means nothing if it dies in summer heat.
  • Value over prestige. The most expensive option isn't always the best. Sometimes the $100 pick outperforms the $500 model.
  • Honest opinions. We don't accept payment for reviews. If something sucks, we say so.
  • Practical advice. We're not engineers or scientists. We're truckers. We explain things the way we'd explain them to a buddy at the truck stop.

How We Make Money

TruckGear Hub is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click our links and buy something, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the lights on.

Important: Our editorial decisions are never influenced by affiliate relationships. We recommend what we believe in, not what pays the most.
