Depth of Discharge (DoD)

You can't use a battery's full capacity without damaging it. Different battery types have different safe discharge levels:

  • LiFePO4: Use 80-100% of capacity
  • AGM: Use 50% of capacity
  • Flooded Lead-Acid: Use 50% of capacity
